Last year we purchased a reconditioned Fischer Panda 4000s eco.
We hardly used it last year and this year after around 25 hours it has given up producing electricity despite the panel showing nothing awry. The engineer who sold the machine to us and fitted it, first thought it was the capacitor and in fact he found that it had blown, but even with a new capacitor it still failed to produce power. He is confused by the fact that the panel showed all clear and that the generator didn't auto stop.
He now thinks that the diodes are blown. This is a huge job entailing dismantling the generator to remove it from the vessel and taking it away to a workshop to investigate.
Has anyone else had any related experiences?
