We are looking to winter at the Marina in Fertilia and called in a few weeks ago on our way back to the Airport.
Boat is ashore at present in Olbia
What are peoples thoughts anyone been there.
Is there local WiFi availble or 3G coverage as when I am there will need to do some work

Regards

I wouldn't touch them with the proverbial barge pole!

This place used to be very popular with Cruising Association Yachts, however amongst the floating village of Med Cruisers, there have been a series of horror stories over the last two winters regarding damaged boats and substantial 'additional charges' being levied when it's time to re-launch 'no pay no lift'

We popped in last summer and were charged €30 for a lunchtime stop-over... the owner was fierce enough to avoid argument! We found it to be the worse marina we have been to since leaving the UK - and we have been to a few! Apparantly it is very popular with liveaboards. Can't imagine why. When we were there it was dirty, falling apart, smelly and extremely expensive. He tried to persuade us to spend the winter there, despite trying to charge 3 x the price of most other marinas. We ran away as quickly as we could. Best of luck!

We've overwintered in Porto Torregrande. Looked at Fertilia last summer and was not impressed. Proximity to the airport was the only advantage. Price in Torregrande was 1/2 the price in Fertilia. Bus service from Cagliari to ALG airport picks up in Oristano to meet Ryanair flights and costs 15 euros. Hope this helps.

What were the prices like for Porto Torregrande we are a 10.4M yacht
Dont mind if we are in a yard or Marina

Fertilia are coming back with 3000 Euro +Tax for a year in the water or 1500 euro for 8 months in the yard including 2 way lift and scrub.
We paid 2900 euro in Olbia for the same this year well up on what we paid in France the previous year.
