I'm just about to buy one for use in the Med.

Anyone else got one or had one and can give me some advice or tips?

Great boat and good in a rough sea. fuel gauge can be a bit optimistic and then drops quickly so take note of miles done etc.
Always use a ball fender in front of the pods that come round from the bathing platform to the stern quarters and a smaller ball or sausage fender on the low cleat, the pods are not very thin fibreglass and easily damaged.

but a great boat.

Woodie100 on here has had one in Med a few years so can advise. I've been on it a few times. Great boat, very nice layout and excellent dining table in cockpit for lunches in sun. Fits a williams 285 in garage if you want. Woodie100 has his for sale, just listed, at Essex Boatyards, becuase he is buying bigger. It's a 2007, and is especially med suited becuase it has sunbrella cloth upholstery in saloon/cockpit (much nicer than vinyl) and the contemporary light oak interior, plus airco and passerelle of course

Where in med do you plan to keep it?

Good luck

planning to moor it in gulf of st tropez

Ah, should have guessed from your name!

Excellent boat for that location. Great swim/play/lunch platform for short local runs to Pampleonne etc, and at 47feet has the legs to do longer runs to Antibes area (say) plus crossings to Corsica and Menorca without fuel/range problems

aww thanks guys, we love our T47 too :)

It's a great size boat for short trips whilst being comfortable enough for the longer distances. Has a lovely big fridge for its size plus icemaker, bbq etc (all very important to us!). The garage is big enough for the Williams and we found enough space elsewhere for the kayak, water skis etc...

We've stopped on the buoys at Pampleonne a couple of times and lunched ashore - very nice!

We have also had young children on the boat and it felt very safe and secure for them.

All in all a fab boat!
