I've just replaced my old Evinrude 4HP with a new 4 stroke outboard. The Evinrude is old but is in smart condition and has had very little use. It has developed a habit of cutting out which is not fuel, more likely aged coils or the like. The unit is not commercially viable to repair but it seems a shame to chuck it in the skip. I wondered whether there was a charity, kid's club or similar out there who might be able to use it and which has a tame two stroke specialist to fix it. No cash required, outboard is in Midlands at the moment but could deliver London / West Country at my convenience.
