Not sure, I've heard all sorts of get outs from them. The car is British, is only driven in Britain, kept at our UK address in an alarmed garage. We are British citizens but Portuguese residents with PT license as the law states we should be. We only do approximately 1500 miles a year, no claims and no points on licenses. They knew all this and have been insuring her for years, but as soon as she changed license to PT the problems started.
