I ve seen a boat online I like. BUT, its in Estonia

Now I'd love to buy her and sail her home to Ireland this summer. 2 weeks or so?

What about the practicalities of languagr, finding surveyors, legal issues, money transactions. Anything else I should worry about

At least its EU so no Vat or duty issues.

No problem with Estonia ....

I used to have one of my boats in Tallinn ... later sold it when I moved back to Latvia.

PM me and I will try to help.
Thanks for the offer.

The logistics are looking akward. And probably a month-ish, give or take, to sail home.

It was a nice idea.

I expect road transport to be far too expensive.

I was going to sail my boat from Solent to Latvia .... stepping it out - it showed a minimum of 3 weeks ... but more likely 5 weeks ...

I trucked it in the end ... about 3000 euros.

I was looming for a neat 30ish footer. There was one with many recent upgrades that was appealing, including new uprated engine.

I would love to cruise Estonia. 😊

Nothing against Estonia .. but better is the Stockholm Archipelago ..... nearly all free ... tie up to trees / rocks etc ... no tides ... amazing ....

No matter how many times you get amongst the islands etc - there's always somewhere / something you haven't seen before ...
