can i replace these with the engine still in situ, one at a time? If so, how do I go about it?. Do I need to replace all the mounts at the same time, or can I just do the two worn ones at the rear. many thanks

Replaced ours last year one at a time. Used a car jack, bottle type, to support the engine without lifting it, then removed one mounting, fitted new one and set the locking nut underneath and then lowered the jack. Then did the same to the other side and it worked perfectly.

Like yourself, I only did the rear ones and it made a big difference. I used the solid rubber in metal, not the hydrostatic type that have a small air bag in them.
