Engine installation - Scotland

Hell of a question to ask. But I ask it because of my series of woes which has so far made the rumours of boating a reality....I do not want the happiest day of my life to be the day I sell my boat (!)

anyway, I am having to replace my engine. All of you were extremely helpful in recommending an engine to me (Beta).

I am scheduled to go with MMS in Ardrossan for the installation. I have no reason to doubt the professionalism in the slightest. But I have been stung once too many on the road to boat recovery. So this is just a belts and braces manouvre.

Is this a reasonable choice?

(you are all great incidentally) Wish I could buy you all a pint. It would cheaper than my boat repair bill!

MMS are very highly recommended, I've used Robert many times and his work has always been very professional.

Have you tried West Coast Marine Services in Troon? Always found them extremely competitive and the standard of work faultless.
