Me too. I get a lot less irritation and a cleaner shave from a wet razor. Modern wet razors carry an insignificant risk of cutting oneself; I only get a cut when I inadvertently take the top off a pimple or similar.
I have recently started to have a professional wet shave. A surprisingly, enjoyable experience and have found that for a week or so after the shave my own are much closer. I am not looking at using a cut-throat in the future as that is a step too far.
My grandfather used a cut-throat razor; I've never felt inclined to try it! My father once had a thing called a Rolls Razor, but I never saw him use it!

Just wondering if there is a minimum fuzz requirement if you apply for Old Gaffers membership. Something like the face must be covered by a minimum 70%. 60% from May to October.
