The new editor will last as long as she can improve sales/keep ahead of the politics in the firm/keep the staff happy/show that improvements can be made to the magazine/keep the revenue increasing from adverts/keep the advertisers happy/and any other pressure that comes her way she can deal with. I wish her luck its tough at the top(whether its worth it or not I still cannot tell you after 28 tears as a Sale sDirector!!??)
Don't know this lady you're talking about, but if she achieves all those objectives, send her to the US.
I'm sure she would manage the war against Bin Laden better than Bush.
