Eberspacher locked out?

OK, I just focussed on the pump due to your original fuel related probs. I assume you have the manual? if not then you can see and download at www.espar.com. you can then test the components individually glow pin, combined heat/flame sensor etc. There are values in the manual but usually problems are short or open circuit rather than exact values. You can test the fan by direct contact but beware that the fan may be 9 volts ( a quick 12v flash may be ok) I am assuming that you have followed other advice about good batteries and wiring. Worst case scenario is the dreaded ECU ( the most common failure in D2s and D4s I'm afraid) that will set you back ( £250) so lets hope its not that!!
