I see that there are some at £250 or so but they're still three phase mostly.

I won mine for £40.

Its 3 phase, so I either need a converter or to change the motor for a single phase one.

It'll cost me best part of £100 on a pallet to get it from Essex to my house on Isle of Wight.

I reckon it'll be up and running for a couple of hundred pounds.

There was one in the woodworking lab at school, we weren't allowed to touch it, so I guess this is me finally getting chance to use one 35 years later.

Ebay seller just cancelled my purchase and refunded my paypal, he says his unit was broken into and machiner stolen. I reckon he's just miffed he only got one £40 bid and wants more.

If you have the chance to put feedback on ebay then do so but keep it factual, at least others will become aware if they choose to look.

Might be a blessing, they are a socking great machine and using a bench grindstone is fast, if not so aesthetically pleasing :-}
