Going out of the Deben Tuesday or Weds. Is the advice still to keep Mid Knoll in transit with the Martello?

I came in last weekend on LW=+3
Had at least 2m all the way.
Yes you need to keep Mid Knoll in transit with the left hand side of the martello tower until about 50m from the buoy then you need to slip off to port a bit.
You do get jolly close to the new shingle bank that has built up to Starboard.

Note :- This is coming in.

Three goes over the Deben bar and never seen less than 2.2m of water and lowest point of tide was LW+2.5

Ore bar today and it wasn't fun, the buoys and bar were fine, no trouble and lots of water but once through we couldn't work out which side to go, near the long standing sticky mud bit to port we edged to starboard but got down to 2.1m of water at LW+4.5 and that's not good. My suspicions were that a strong course alteration to starboard would have been better but we once ran aground for an hour on a shingle knoll between the mud and the ness and now we're a monohull that's not so much fun :)
