Am I missing something obvious or is it now the case that there is no tidal movement between Belfast and Oban and none between Oban and Aberdeen? Having a look at ybw.com "weather and tides" has led me to that conclusion...or is the info for Greenock/Troon/Ayr/Stornaway, etc. cunningly tucked out of my reach? Of course I could always pick up a free set of tables...

Tried the BBC site?

Lots of <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/coast/tides/scotland_04.shtml#ports>tide info</A> on the excellent BBC website - surely one of the best sites around. There are 4 pages of Scottish ports listed.

Also noticed the same thing. Posted this on the Website notice board that Oban tides used Greenock.

Wasn't impressed. No answer so far....
