Unusual design I wonder how much the original owner had in the design.

Surely wasn't this a standard design (the Haven class?) & loads of them built and still around? Was this the one at Titchmarsh Marina (NE Essex) and work being dones at Frank Halls winter before last?

I had some dealings with Clapsons at South Ferriby Marina on the River Ancholme. I was sorry when they retired, and never realised that they had built boats such as this. I think it went down hill after they left.

It was I had it shipped down from Titchmarsh marina , looking abit worse for wear. But now back to A 1 condition. The work at Frank Halls was to replace rot in the wheelhouse deckhead and a paint job hear and there, nevertheless remove the filler wich was all over the place.

The east Coast yacht Agency was also responsible for for the EyemouthShipyard building a yacht version of an east coast fishing boat with input from J FrancisJones…..one of the first was called Dough Boy owned by a baker backin the late 1960s……the Inchcape motor sailer

A bit rude perhaps? But I have seen quite a few around, certainly two or three around Aldeburgh, and one in the Pangbourne area of the upper Thames. The 1969 Lloyds Register has 13 possible Haven Class designed by J Francis Jones, 2 of which built by Clapson Shipbuilders (but not your White Nun).

Is this an old advert? ie was it in Lymington, was sold, went to Titchmarsh, and is now back in Southampton?
