I have had an Electric Outboard for over 4 years.
I fully charge the 50ah leisure battery at home. I use it to go to the boat then plug it in to the house bank using an Anderson plug.
It is then either charged from the engine or solar.
If I am going to use a lot of electrical stuff on the boat then I can disconnect the outboard battery
