Caulking in Pwhelli

A friend of mine is probably the worlds worst DIY man but loves wooden boats. He has bought a lovely Stella which is in Pwhelli. We launched last weekend but there was so much water coming in from a couple of open seams at the top of the keel/bottom of stem that we pulled her out again. On inspection it appears to need a little re-caulking.

He can't do it, I can't get there to do it and it's many years since I've tried anyway, so does anyone know someone who can do it in the next couple of weeks?

He really wants to launch soon and take her round to Hollyhead on the weekend of 20th March, shakedown sails and weather permitting.

I thought Stella’s where Clinker built? In which case caulking is probably not the best idea!

She is clinker but there are a few butt/carvel joints at the front top of the keel.
