Buying abroad.

A few years ago I delivered a dehler 43, that someone had purchased in greece. I intend going on holiday in spring, reccomendations accepted where I can combine my boat search, comparing prices,etc with the chance of a bit of sun. Anywhere in eu, ryanair easyjet destinations.

On a similar vane any web sites for boat yards abroad, pref eu, for obvious reasons.

I went to La Rochelle on two shopping trips and found fantastic value there especially compared with the south coast of england.

Boats are advertised there not just in the yards and the brokers but along the pontoons, many of the owners were on board, either by custom or chance on a Saturday morning, and we were able to view loads of boats in just a few hours.

You must try Kalamaki Marina, near Athens. Lots of boats, lots of bargains, but tread carefully and get a survey.
If you want somewhere nicer to look, there are boatyards in Aegina, Poros, Porto Kheli, etc that are a ferry ride away.
