No connection, looks similar to the one I bought from Toolstation but mine came with a fleece mop only, and was a tenner more.

It looks like the domestic version, and may not be up to the continuous use needed to polish boat, i bought an industrial version, orange body, which weighs slightly more due to heavier internal workings. It has a slow start up built in, and seems to work well that times i have used it..and only £10 more than the lower quality one..

Yes my polisher has the orange body and soft start as well.

Just ordered an orange version for myself too. Glad someone else has used the same tool!

Any input on how to go about A restoring the gelcoat and B buffing off what the high pressure spray didnt get off?

PBO had a good article last year. They used 3M products. I followed the procedure and got excellent results and very messy from the polisher spray off!

( I also managed to splatter a Porsche 911 and a new Range Rover that some idiot had parked next to all the boats being worked on in the yard. White rubbing compound looks good on dark paint hee hee hee)
