The first was Amber (now moored in the Crouch) with the sail no 11, Tadpoles is no 21!

I know... Amber was ours until last year! I think there were 3 made by Island Plastics after Anderson Rigden and Perkins went bust... Lovely boats, so quick for the size

A Lot of Fred Drift on here.

Lets get back to the subject

Roger

Thanks; had asked them for a lift out but as it's a two hour drive to find out if it's done, I'd been wondering.

(BTW, it's Sea Moon, although Sea Drift has a nice ring about it)

Could be a sunrise - in which case he's roughly heading SE.

This is getting like pin the tail on a donkey /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

You just hope it looks like that when you get stuck on a sandbank /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re: Bit quiet here so here\'s a silly whereisit?

Have to say Larry I'm in love with the boat, Jim Dew had a good look over Tadpole last year and complemented me on buying a good boat.

I'm feeling a bit bad at the mo as he has not been out for a sail with me!

Should I be shot at dawn for this unforgivable offence?

Re: Bit quiet here so here\'s a silly whereisit?

I'm going to need a clue. Spent two hours today on the Pride of Dover hove to off Calais with two other Ferries. Quite an odd sensation but pretty comfortable. Very high water in Calais with the NWerly going straight in the harbour entrance meant that the previous Ferry on our intended Pier couldn't disembark. They were all needing tugs to get out of their berths. Eventually, they moved that ferry from our intended berth by tug and we took over. But for some reason we could disembark - different ship design but there was some amusing graunching as we docked. The swell into the inner harbour looked very impressive, looked a good 6ft and coming in quite rapidly; not a day to hang on one of the waiting buoys, The sea over the Ridens wasn't too bad except off the entrance where there were some big breakers. Coming back was pretty reasonable.

Glad to see the post is still going.

Back to muckypup - Opale Coast somewhere?
