I would say, it's a bit unfair to slag the supplier off because you stripped the threads in the battery.
Having spent over £10,000 with them I disagree. All I needed was 3 minutes. I would then have spent another £3500 with them later this month. Not any more. Battery factory offered me advice even though I told them I was not a customer yet. They will get the 2 battery order. BMS took my phone number twice to call me back and never did.

The best customer service I have ever seen is from Owen at planar heaters. They could do with reading his facebook page to see how it is done.

Marlec.co.uk (Rutland wind generators) also have my order later in this year.

Martin at Lancing Marine is also excellent and will chat to help with with Ford FSD engines.

The last email from BMS said. "No it's not going to be usable as without the thread its going to create a lose connection meaning it will risk arking and thermal build up". W T F

In fairness to the supplier they will only give repair advice that comes from the manufacturer or they'd be liable for the damage you could do drilling into a lithium battery.
As said do it off the boat well away from anything.
i guess they could have said, “you’ll need to get the thread repaired but you proceed at your own risk.” Alternatively, the person advising might not have heard of helicoils.
