Thinking of bareboating in Turkey next year, has anyone any experience good or bad, also best or worst charter companies. Have used sunsail twice in the past Greece & Caribbean both times found the boats not in good contrition and susceptible to breakdowns. Hope to have more success with other companies.

We chartered bareboat out of Marmaris using Tenrag (Stardust). Excellent boat, couldn't fault it. Another couple who did have a technical problem were immediately despatched 2 maintenance guys to fix it. Staff very friendly both here in UK and in Turkey. Have a great holiday.

Hi

We chartered out of Bodrum on a Yildis Yacht Charters Jeanneau Sun Odyssey (how DO you spell that??) 37, booked through Nautilus in the UK.

Yildis are run by a Turkish guy and a british girl, and they really know their way around the place, both in terms of organisation and pointing you in the right direction!

Both great organisations....flights sorted, transport from airport laid on and VERY well equipped yachts...

And the sailing was awesome too, BTW!!!

Whole-heartedly recommended

Have a great time

Nick
