For the record and to save any confusion, the following spoof IDs have been banned:

Westwind - AKA - Endymion
Gruppenfink - AKA - Humperdink

I have infinitely more patience to weed out such silliness than the people concerned have spare time and connection cash to waste and so it would be sensible for all concerned if we called a halt here, eh?

Spoofing??

Hardly so. Spoofing consists of the substitution of an IP address which does not belong to the sender. These individuals made no attempt to conceal their IP addresses, or for that matter their identity to any regular contributor.

At the same time I'm aware that a number of posters, myself included, regularly post under more than one pseudonym. Maybe they use distinct IP addresses for each to avoid your wrath.

Yes Kim - it is me Endymion

To set the record straight on this one!

I posted under the assumed name of Westwind as despite at least 4 requests for my lost password for Endymion to be sent, nothing ever arrived. OK, if you have a problem with me posting under that assumed name fine.

As a 'new user' under your system with this new assumed name, I felt that it would be rather foolish stating that I was a regular contributor...would you not agree?

Just so that there is NO further confusion on this one for ANY party concerned, I also post on YBW as John C

I did not use this name as I did not have the password to hand, and with your track record of sending passwords, by the time it would have been received, the moment would have gone!

OK, nuff said...

See, not one mention of _ _ _!!!!!!!!!

Re: Ner Ner NerNer Ner ....

So you have the face of an angel and the innocence to match.......and you would never use it to your advantage when/if ever stopped by the law for speeding on or off the water I suppose :)

More spin than a government in decline I think but nice try. Ditto passwords. I've not got any records here but it is not in our habit to ignore email requests for fresh passwords. Email we details of when and I'll investigate.

Just wondered ... if you went around dressed like wot you are in your piccie then I'd have thought you would get away with anything from the law enforcers!

Why would anybody want to hide the fact they are posting, I don't understand why peeps need two or three login names etc, it's all beyond me, a simple soul at the best of times, I just use the one sign in and the same password for everything on the net of this nature, saves memory, mine!
