Banmar:Lada or Ferrari?

Well it's made in Italy so we live in hope. My new Halcyon27 has Banmar roller reefing. I really wanted to know if anyone had any experience of this system. Any info appretiated.

I dont have actual experience of that make. However I looked at Facnor, Banmar and Easyreef for my boat, and bought Easy reef due to close proximity to factory. Thought Banmar was of equal quality, but did not like the facnor as much - hope that helps.

BTW, although not part of the recommended kit, I fitted a specific winch for the inhaul/outhaul, which allows very controlled management of the sail, even when under load.
