...easier to smuggle into the shed than the generator a couple of weeks ago.
If you do buy cheap tools you end up having to throw them away after a few jobs- you generally get what you pay for.

My only criticism is that there is no automatic cut out when the battery is fully charged.I've overcharged & screwed a couple of them.:disgust:
I need a multi-grinder & when you want one you can't get your hands on one for love nor money.Very poor marketing strategy by whoever really makes them in my opinion.
It's cleverer than you think. Lidl only stock this stuff say every six months- they buy in bulk, they get away with smaller stores, and by selling stuff twice a year they still get a good bit of the market (how many times a year do you buy a drill?)- plus the impulse buy effect, i.e. I don't know if I will use this tool, but it looks handy, and if I don't buy it today I'll probably be waiting ages for it to come up again...
How many of us have bought 'useful' stuff from Lidl and never actually used it?
Yep been there! A wall chaser gadget used once! Had to come up for air even with respirator! It's cleverer than you think. +1. Did you find a source for replacement batteries, or did you just chuck the whole thing away and buy a new one?
I managed to overcharge the multi-tool battery, and now it holds a charge for a couple of minutes only.

RO Sander looks just like mine. Can thoroughly recommend, it's still going strong after sanding an entire 40 ft hull plus various other jobs. Only downside is that it seems to get heavier and heavier after a couple hours of use.
