........ to clean a prop, keel and rudder?
Our boat was lifted for a pre-purchase survey in May (Conwy Marina - £614 for a lift over lunchtime! Ridiculous price - but I digress) and it was jet washed at the same time. I was noticing a bit less speed than I would expect so put the underwater camera down yesterday for a wee look. It seems that either the jet washing at the survey or just old antifouling has meant that there are barnacles all over the prop and on the trailing edge of the keel and rudder.
It would only take about 15 mins to remove if the boat was lifted, but as I don't plan on hauling the boat until January, I thought if I could get a local diver to pop down for a fee, then that would be the best bet.
Does anyone know of a local diver who would do the job for me?
Cheers
