A mile from anywhere and I found it quite expensive for the facilities. Nice staff, though. When I was there I was sure there was someone living in the shower block overnight.

I was there for a few weeks this year when I lost my rudder
What i liked was the facility to get repairs done at a reasonable cost & fairly quickly
Most marinas use outside people & have little control over them
I had a fold up bike so visits to the town each day was quite Ok . bit of a long way to walk but all the shops one needs
Funny comment about the people living in the showers. I noticed a couple regularly doing their laundry at midnight & seemed to have all their overnight gear with them. Did not seem to be liveaboard yachties either
Staff in the marina are pretty good too
