Probably because it's true :ROFLMAO:

Mine had a white hull - good boats and a cheaper and arguably better looking option over a Nimbus 310/320

I’ve seen them like that in older boats but not in anything more recent. I was expecting to see the more usual single control lever.
If she was closer I’d have gone and had a look. We’ve had a look at a Skilso 975 but missed out on it. I believe that the hull form of the ACM is flatter without the prominent keel seen on the Skilso/Nimbus. How does this effect handling especially in lumpy seas?

I've owned a Nimbus 310 and an ACM Elite 31. To be honest I can't say there was much difference cruising around the Solent but then it was typically at planing speeds around 18 - 20 knots. If there were a sliding scale from displacement to planing handling I'd put the Nimbus on a 6 and the ACM on a 7.

They made the Nimbus 310 with twin engines too but again weren't very popular. A stern thruster certainly helps but I didn't have one on either boat.

Having the next size of ACM up and previously owned a Bennet hulled P33, a Olesinski hulled P35 and a Rolly Poly Broom Aquafibre hull of uncertain pedigree , the ACM is as least as good, possibly better than any of them in a uncomfortable Thames esturary chop.
All that stuff about Brooms being good sea boats is load of old tosh.
The only thing you are likely to "see " again is your breakfast.
