Oh Dear

Pauline, another disaster has struck! I had just returned from Waitrose with a little bit of shopping to cook the evening meal when the doorbell rang. Upon opening it I was confronted by an extremely goodlooking man in uniform holding an arrest warrant. Would you believe it? But apparently Leslie has been a bit naughty and they wish to talk to him. Now I do not wish to abandon anyone but I really do'nt think that this is the man for me, what do think. I've had some good advice about the boat on the PBO forum and I'm going to try and wash off the blue stripes with boiling water. The man who left the boat to me was an Everton supporter but I don't really think he would mind if I and make it reflect my personality, do you. Is Sailbad really a sinner? Well I'm off out now to the sewing circle where we have a bit of a laugh but I do'nt like sharing my personal problems with them as I've only recently had the operation.

You should steer clear of anything to do with Everton or, indeed, Liverpool in general - and that probably includes Mr Sailbad as he has his roots there - although you could be forgiven for straying in his direction, especially as I believe he thinks you're cute. Has he actually seen the before and after pics of your operation?

As far as Leslie is concerned, I think you should forget him and start looking around for someone new, I'm sure you'll get lots of offers from the forum. As for the sewing circle, don't plump for doing the joint bed throw - there are always arguments at the end as to who actually owns it and should use it - and those women can be very vicious with their needles and thimbles !!!

I understand why you are a vicar. There is some very sound advice there. Is Sailbad goodlooking as well as nice? I'm giving up men for the moment due to some recent bad experiences. With regard to the sewing circle I'm getting some funny looks when I'm trying to get them to do dodgers and sprayhoods, I think they're really more into Martini & sherry, to be quite honest! I've got a plain white sail that I put up occasionally when its not too winndy, I might try and get them to embroider some tasteful motifs on it. Is'nt the weather just frightful at the moment?

Sailbad, I know I'm a desperate lonely new woman but I do have a boat and you have'nt. I'm not unhinged, just have been let down rather a lot recently and having watched you and your companions posting from afar thought it seemed a nice place to be. You soon got rid of that nasty man did'nt you? Are you engaged yet?
