A cure for slippery soles on sailing boots

Photos of expensive Dubarry boots, only worn on board and the pontoon. Dubarry not interested they simply say that the outer sole has separated from the inner. Apparently it is a known issue.
If that’s the case SORT IT.
It seems from speaking to them this happens frequently.
Dubarry footwear will not be purchased again!!

The soles on my £8 Vollies have also hardened to a slippery death trap after only 10 years of hard use. Probably not worth the £85 resoling charge! 😀

The most impressive non sticking sole I found is that of industrial food/fishing processing people boots. I bought a white pair of boots, surely hitting the bottom end of any style scale, but oh one can walk over wet transparent portlight surfaces, plain metal surfaces etc even when inclined, they really do not move. They are nice during a short period, of course after a couple of hours the feet are steam-cooked.
