What a lucky chap I am. Checked my lottery tickets for last sauturday's draw this evening and it seems I won the lottery on Saturday.

I had ALL SIX numbers. Really, honest. No joke. ALL SIX.

Only down side to it is that three of 'em were on one line , two on another and the the final sixth number on a thrird line. So I won a tenner.

Today though looks like my luck has changed for the better.

I've had two e-mails this evening from Nigeria offering me a share in two separate scams. One from a very nice sounding Dr. Peter Fawarz of the Nigerian Gas Company Plc, offering me 25% of the $35million estate of the late engineer John Anderson, and the second from an equally nice sounding Dr Aigbe Udoma offering me 30% of $15.6million that was over-invoiced to the Nigerian Gas Company. Seems the NGC has a lot of money on its hands and is desperate to get rid of it. Aren't I the lucky one.

And to top it all, this morning in the post I got my MoBoChat polo shirt from Haydn and a very nice Christmas card too. Only thing is the card had been sent to him by the Padstow Harbour Commisioners and he'd scribbled out their signatures and signed it himself. Now wasn't that nice of him.

So it looks like a very nice Xmas will be spent in the Cutey household with all the good luck we've had today. Can't wait to get to LBS next week.

And of course I hope you all have nearly as much good luck as I've had.

Actually H, thought I'd send it back to Padstow and ask 'em to send it back to both you and me next Christmas. That way they save some money too.

Wishing Harry a Happy Xmas. But sod you.

I just got two numbers on the Christmas Eve Lottery Game. Should be enough to buy a bottle of wine. Wish it was enough to buy a vinyard.
Happy Christmas

As a compliance officer I would say dont even think about replying tot hose emails its not so much the sending your bank account details etc its if you have a company they will use your letter head and format and claim association with you.

I've seen a few of these and I've often wondered what kind of people actually reply to them. Presumably some must or they would cease to happen.

I\'m mortified

You don't mean it's a con surely?

But it seems such a realistic scheme to me. And here was I going to send them my co letter head and bank details so they could put the money in my account and now you're telling me it's a con?.

No, really?

I reckon you're all just jealous that it's me been chosen as the lucky recipient of all this money.

You just wait and see. This time next year we could all be millionaires

Re: West African Scams

(west African) Scams are getting better. Collegue actaully recieved a cheque for lots or money having had much correspondance and meets with "officials" of "companies". Stumbling block was that the VAT needed to be paid (either here or West Africa )and he was asked for a cheque. The rest is History as was the ability to cash the cheque.

My advice is DONNNNNNNNTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
