Heads hoses currently are white cordsteel, and are exposed because there is no reslistic way of boxing them in. I'm replacing the seacocks and through-hulls so the heads is out right now.

The cordsteel hoses (outlet especially) are calcited and very stiff. I have fixed this once before by beating the crap out of them, but this time I am minded to replace them with the much more flexible and smoother bore Vetus hose.

Although I will be able to route this slightly less like a deranged octopus, it will still be mostly visible
It is grey with a blue stripe, not as unobtrusive as the plain white of the cordsteel.

Is there anything I can use as a mote attractive cover for this hose? (External dia. 48mm)

You wouldn't care to mosey over on over to Latvia and have a gander at my 'deranged octopus' ??

Whoever installed the system ended up with valve levers hitting each other ... pipes interwoven ...

Myself and others have spent hours figuring out where it 'all' goes ! We have now found that only ONE combination of all the valves INCLUDING the Jabsco - stops the bowl from back-filling. The boat has holding tank as well as 'to sea' ... there are two pump actions .. Jabsco built in as usual - please a whale Mk5 which can do either bowl or holding tank - depending on valve settings ...
The washbasin - now that has piping that disappears, we are not certain if that ends up in same 'exit' route .... I know crazy !!

I have 4 diagrams in my on-board 'Job-Book' to detail and trace what pipe / valve does what. Because of the levers hitting each other - they are not fitted so inline with pipe - means that is flow direction ... some are - some aren't.

I know - its time to put on the 'protective gloves' old clothes and remove - re-pipe so we can know exactly where - what - when ....

Spiro Wrap for hydraulic hoses can be bought in various colours and could be used to improve the aesthetics of the poop pipe.

Pig's Tail Spiral Hose Wrap - Plascompo

You can also buy hose sleeves such as 35mm Inside Diameter Hydraulic Protective Hose Sleeve; PYRO35X15

This is only 30mm but is expandable RS PRO Expandable Braided PET Black Cable Sleeve, 30mm Diameter, 5m Length | RS

Coloured expandable mesh Pipe sleeve - Protective mesh - Stretch width 50 to 100mm - Full dispenser box 50m (Red) Online ordering at NexaParts.

Maybe not that pretty.

I've got this 10 Year Warranty Sanitation Hose | Tek-Tanks and some of the cheaper stuff listed at the bottom of the web page. The expensive stuff is mainly hidden luckily and the black writing on the cheaper one I don't really notice.

I tried cleaning the last hoses but it didn't seem to make much difference so find replacing easier. The toilet being a lavac, it is easy to pump lots of water through to stop the 'blocking' unless I'm using the holding tank which luckily isn't to often !
