Just to clarify, my point was that by telling someone to wear overshoes you become responsible.
You are placing a requirement on someone else and by that nature you really should have done your homework on H&S RA irrespective of whether it’s commercial or not. I work with volunteer...
I purchased a Torqeedo 1103 3 months ago, its been used daily by both us and our friends whilst cruising - we have been extremely happy with it and i cant see us going back to the petrol Honda we also have.
Range and speed more than adequate for us in a 2.9m air deck.
Rafting is a way of life in the South Coast (UK) - although admittedly since COVID struck, many harbours are restricting the practice - which in itself seems to be somewhat random in its nature - but if you want to stop somewhere, often times its the only option.
I am concerned about the...
Fitted evo system last month with rudder sensor. Easy and quiet. Most difficult was making the mount for the drive unit shaped to the hull. Setup a breeze - super happy.
No disagreement there, we came the other way after finally making the Isles of Scilly the previous week and found the pricing to be most acceptable (after the Solent).

I’m going to replace both in the morning, I hope Falmouth has them!
i think all the hoses and clips too just to be safe.
i leave in it neutral as it’s a fixed prop (as per Volvo instruction.)
I’m currently away and have found an issue with my sea water cooling system which only manifests itself after sailing.
here’s what happens, we motor for a while (everything working 100%) and then put up the sails, turn off the engine and then when starting the engine again the water fails to...
