Fitted some non marine JBL speakers on a softtop T52 a few years as they were the only ones I could find that would fit the hole. They seem to hold up pretty well. 4 years now and no visible signs of corrosion. Not sure I would bother with Marine versions again unless in a rib or so.

Not an easy one. Did this on my T52. In the end found a regular Samsung on that fairly closely fitted the frame around the original sharp which was a regular table top version with an added frame. Quite fiddly to get it centered on the frame but got there in the end.

indeed would not take them back to bare metal. Many year ago I slapped some Silver Hammerite on a corroded spot just to get me through the season. Seemed to last better than all the expensive pro stuff I tried in later years.
