Not an issue. The ring is not really for mooring to on this type of buoy. I used strops attached to the riser chain with a pickup buoy. In this pic I had a chain strop and a nylon one. I gave up on the chain as it corroded very badly at the point which was awash.

Strange. I don't have a Photbucket account. If I right click on either of Vic's posted images and choose open in a new tab I get just the image. Yes it has a photbucket URL, but just for that image.
Are you assuming that all browsers resize images? We still get complaints from people whose browser grows scrolling bars when an image too wide is posted.
