I went past it today on daily dogwalk ... and it was pretty well embedded at high tide so I don't think it's going anywhere soon .... the anchor was out with a lot of chain in the wrong direction ie parallel with the shore...but I don't think it would make any difference. looks like mooring...

this bilge keeler has been aground at keyhaven for a couple of days now. One of the pictures is at High Tide. How will they get it off ?

Does anyone know the torque for the nut on top of the injector leak-off pipe for a Volvo MD2020/Perkins Perama M20 ? Torques for the injectors themselves and the fuel delivery pipes are in the manual(s) : 60 - 70 nm and 20-25nm ... ... but not the leak-off pipe nuts which will crush the...

I used brick acid and a screwdriver carefully ... never did manage to undo the drain nut thing ... it was stuck fast ... and still is!

If lift pump is bypassed with electric pump - Facet or otherwise - does the panel recommend the pump is installed before or after the primary fuel filter ? Seems to be a hotly contested topic on the interweb.

PS that's in addition to copper washers ... and only recommended on the bottom two threads so maybe it's a belt and braces thing ...? Meanwhile I'm fairly horrified by the cost of Volvo/Perkins copper washers .... so I think I'll be annealing my old ones - except for the ones with holes in for...

You say Loctite 575 ... I say Loctite 574 ... which is different and what various youtube diy engineers seem to recommend?
