I haven't been on here for a long time - not that anyone really noticed! I have been trying to get the Fairey refurbished. Results of that have been best part of 20 grand and still not finished as I have been let down etc by a number of people. I am hoping it will be finished by the end of...
Some people winter their boats elswhere, so it can look a bit empty.
The Kingswear Castle has gone, I'm afraid. To the river Dart. Damn shame, used to like having that near to us. And watching them moor it - had a long chat with one of the crew about how they nake it "walk" sideways.
Shouldn't...

Maybe I'm being stupid here, but a 60 odd foot boat with all the machinery/gear etc, can't withstand a bit of rough weather?
Poor advert for a boat of any sort. I would expect a £2M boat to be able to withstand a passage in a F4/5 ? No?
Ah, well.
Those bikini clad women...
Yes, but would you have bothered looking at them?
Bring a big rope on Sunday, Fred, and you could have yourself a shiney new boat to take up some room at your place!
Not my usual thing.... but I need to put a zip in the canvas cover over the boat. Is there a sewing thing that I could use to do this in situ? The cover is very big and heavy - 11M x 3M X 2M approx. Takes 3 of us to lift it when folded!
Any ideas, don't want to do it with an awl by hand...
Errr. I have to own up to owning the boxed set..........
It was pretty dire, Ken had an Alpine GTA - I had one of those myself for a few years. didn't inspire me to go for that odd 80's fashion of a jumper with no shirt. why? So damn itchy...
The best bit was how they always had a major...
No guarding. Just a quartet of Marie Cellestes. Not very well tied up either.
They are pretty 'orrible things, all wavy gell coat and all that. The "teak" furniture on the rear sundeck or whatever the exposed bit is called is getting a bit dirty now.
Is it me, or is there not a lot of room...
Weather to improve?
I thought these were seaworthyboats! Lovely sunny weather over the last few days. Bit windy putting on the cover though.....
The seagulls are beginning to leave their deposits - I wonder if they (Sunseeker) have had any bigger deposits from customers?
All very odd.
Look on the Thames Forum for pics of 4 boats seemingly abandonned on the Medway!!!
No truth in the rumour of a name change to Fireseeker, then?
What are they doing dumped here? Avoiding "The Fire" or something more sinister?
Four of their plastic things have been here for a while now....
Can't these people read???
Does seem a bit odd though. Perhaps they got lost on the way back from LIBS?
How long before they can be claimed...
And what do you do when the cheque(s) bounce?
Since my accident and 2+ years off work my t/over has dropped to below the vat limit and some. Still take cards though. Couldn't survive without.
