Yeoman Plotter

Can anyone out there tell me if a Yeoman Plotter will interface with A Magellan 320 Handheld GPS.

Hi, the answer to your question is a yes. Both the Yeoman plotter and Megellan 320 are NMEA-0183 compliant. NMEA-0183 is the data link used in the marine industry to allow different manufactures products to be interface. When you by the Yeomen it will tell you exaclty which wires need to go where, as should the manual for your GPS. My father bought a Yeomen several years ago and linked it to an old Megellan GPS with no trouble. A great peace of kit which is very useful.

Bear in mind the Yeoman will be used on the chart table where your Magellan is unlikely to receive a satisfactory signal. :-(

Yes it will, but I would also consider the external antenna and you will need a data/power cable.
