I had an SB12 some time back which would have been similar vintage and that was RH. I think engine manufacturers tend to stick with one orientation.

My YSB (now no longer fitted ) was definitely LH rotation prop as I still have the prop...

Also my 2GM20 is RH and they definitely had different rotations. I'm pretty sure the YSE had the same rotation as the YSB. Why not give Peter @ Marine Power in Bursledon a ring on 02380 403918 - they are v helpful Yanmar agents and also the guys to talk to for OEM parts such as starter solenoids (about a third of the yanmar part)

I have a YSE12 and it is left hand rotation. If you read my site and posts you will see I have had problems to get a suitable left hand prop, as the boat came with a right hand one.

Hi
Its Left Hand rotation, anyone want a pair of Right Hand rotation Folding Prop Blades for an Elice Radiche boss, now surplus as I had to buy the left hand blades for my YSE12 at the time.

Hi there,
Definetely a LH prop as I've just fitted a YSE8 to my boat and I had to find a prop as I had a Petter before which is RH. If it's of interest I fitted a 14x7 which is a little underproped.

regards Adam

I have still got spare 13 x 9 LH, a 14 x 15 LH and a 14 x 8 RH Props if anyone wants one. 3 bladed btw. See for sale forum. The large prop could quite easily be cut to 12 inch, with reasonable pitch for anyone who (like me) is short of clearance.

I have the prop off of my old YSE8G which is Left Hand (3 Blade 13x11) and I have removed the prop off of a YSB8 today and that is also Left Hand (2 Blade 13x7).
