Al,
I've got a spare foldable Tennamast that will fit your new purchase. It goes in my Lacetti Estate.
Wont be needing it until November at least.

Thanks for that Jim, tho it is only a matter of interest thing at the moment. Purchase should go through early next week and I plan to have her in the water by ther end of March.

At our club most members have their own trolleys, some better than others! the club has a few trolleys that it rents out to bilge keelers but they must then be blocked of.
Cost of a good new trolley is horrendous due to heavy engineering!

Alan
Bradwell have bought/made some new ones that they will rent out on a first come first serve basis (£100 for the whole winter). If you come out of the water once other boats have started to go back in then they should have one and presumably will do a short term rate. I have my own which should be big enough and perhaps we could share it depending who and when and how long. (Comes with a long submersible ladder /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif).

We built one for a mono hull we owned many years ago, we only used for a couple of days a year when antifouling.

The good bit was the yard looked after it and rented it out to others and we got a percentage of the hire paid.

I would have been happy to pay for the storage, so this was a bonus.

When i got my new nsurance through from St Margarets Dec 08 they said if the boat is ashore it must be stored in a PROFESSIONALLY made cradle built for the purpose of storing vessels.

That's worrying! Are many insurance policies like that these days? I can see the reasons why it would be the case but I don't like the direction this sort of attitude is ultimately going to lead. Presumably the day will come when we won't be able to do anything on our boats except antifoul them (and then only after going on a course, getting some sort of certificate and completing a "risk assessment")!
