What is the proper name and where can one buy what I can only describe as a sort of woven copper webbing used to bond together things like keep bolts to Zinc anodes and the like?
The copper braid used to be standard on cars to connect battery negative to the engine block. It is especially good in resisting fatigue under constant movement.
However it seems to me having multy strands of copper all exposed to corrosive environment means it may not be the best thing for connecting sacrificial anodes etc.
With little movement I reckon a plastic covered cable of tinned multiple strands might be better. Resistance and current capability aree not a problem. The requirement is just that it lasts a long time providing a connection. Put plenty of sealant over the ends of the cable.

Completely agree. Braid is way over the top and, as you say, far more prone to corrosion. FWIW I use 6mm multi strand on all my anodic protection BUT test it every year when the boat's out of the water to ensure continuity.
Only takes a few minutes with a multimeter and an extension lead, and gives us peace of mind. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
