I have just returned from delivering our boat from Milford Haven to Benicarlo, Spain (just North of valencia) after a leisurely 5 week passage and wondered what advice may be available regarding wooden boats in the Med. She is a Nicholson 35 Jolina class, built 1958 and is mahogany on oak. I heard the Torado worm can be a problem

Nicholson Jolina class 35' same age as me but looks better

I heard different opinions about this worm:
1) it's almost non-existent these days, mainly because of the water pollution.
2) it does exist and might attack the wood structure, but dies after a short time out of the water - hence the suggestion to keep the boat in dry dock for at least 2/3 weeks per year (or even better, sheltered during wintertime).

From direct experience, I never found evidence of it in my boat (after 6 years in Adriatic sea - almost always in the water).

Apart from that, I would expect that any other wooden - specific care advices (you can find many of those in previous posts) are valid in any "normal" climate conditions, not just in the Med.
