Th-wife in here omnipotent wisdom, has deamed it right and proper to visit the boat next Saturday for a few days.
Not for fun or enjoyment you understand, No no, just to grudgingly make it all safe for the winter.
Well thats the ploy she uses cos it would be beneath here lordly roll just to go for fun.

So I've picked up a new greenhouse heater cos one of mine was nacked. £8-50 but did'nt say it was for a boat or else £8000000.

Also collected together pipes, taps.T pieces etc. To finish making my patented fuel transfer system, which also doubles as a water seperator and inflight refueler.
The tricky bit is takeing out the drain bung with seventy five gallons in the tank, then fitting various elbows on to go round the exhaust pipe which dosent give room to put a tap on or a bung in the end.
But so far managed Ok and still have some diesel left.
Thum got a bit sore last time though, holding it in the hole!!

To add to my problems. The pub is two miles away by road and twenty yards away by water.

The weather will most probably be.
Blowing a gale and raining horizontal.

So in the honorable opinion of the panel.
And bearing in mind that the boat is three hundred miles away.

Is there anymore rewarding or more fun things to do for the week.

And should the dinghy be stored down the hold for the winter or left by the pontoon for easy escape to the pub??

Serious answers only, on a post card please.

Keep the dinghy rolled up, stay at home, put your feet up and break open the drinks cabinet. You know it makes sense!!!
