AIUI, as Saint Quay and Saint Cast operate using the same customs and immigration derogation, you can check into one and out of t’other.

I know that’s no help as regards Saint Malo but might be useful for other cruisers
They are for this summer, but both don't have the new EES machines, so it's expected to change.

For those who can take the ground take a look at Brignogan Plages about 10 miles east of l'Aber Wrach. Narrow entrance between the rocks then a wide, flat, sandy bay.

A point about St Cast is that it is a very popular family holiday resort, not quite "Kiss me quick" or Blackpool. Many of the houses are holiday lets or second homes, most of the places to eat are designed for the tourist trade and are usually full so booking is advisable, I can think of one reasonable restaurant Le Jardin something or other and also theLa Poissionnierie du Port used to be good and is near the marina. Recommended is breakfast or afternoon tea at La Belle Meunière and you can buy the NYT just down the road if you get there before me in August.

I should have added if you have afternoon tea or coffee at La Belle Meunière do try a Castin gateaux, you will thank me but your waistline might not.
