I usually have some Bar Keepers friend on board as a cream or the powder . This is Oxalic acid based.
Really any acid cleaner will help remove rust stains.
I usually have white vinegar on board (and at home) and used almost the last of it to soak and very effectively descale a shower head . White vinegar has been in short supply. It has many uses.

I bought 5kg around 5 or 6 years ago and it has been great.
For anyone in Ireland, it seems to be still available Oxalic Acid Crystals - 500g

Thanks for that good to know...mine is just running out... I make it up in hot water and add washing up liquid from Aldi..

Paint on with a paint brush then wash with a sponge in a bucket of warm water so the whole thing gets good lathering and then rinse off with fresh water from a hose. Immediately wash with wash and wax or some kind of wax to keep it clean...
