Anyone else own a Wing 25? I have a Wing history book that was passed to me last updated in the early 90s i think, seems there are were still a few about then, especially on the East Coast where they started out. There doesn't seem to be an owners association going, or is there?

Sailed in one in the early seventies. I seem to remember there were two on the west coast of scotland at that time - one at Tighnabruaich and the other down either at Largs or Troon.

The one I sailed on was called 'Wing Leader'

Wing Leader would have been a fairly new boat at that time. Mine was built in 1966 and was one of the earliest. I think of about 30 boats, a good 80% stayed in the local area. 1 went to Ireland, 2 to Scotland, 1 to France.
I think they sail well, they're very spacious for their day and size, the only thing that lets them down for me is a bit of an ugly bow compared to a pretty stern.
Being built of GRP in the early days, there's still plenty of thickness left, too.
