The one on the running board of the Donnet-Zedel was huge......and, no, I have never heard of a DZ before eitherWaking up to a blast of that horn![]()
Nelson would have torn it out with pliers( from his tool box)……and gone sailingWe have been watching this window in the weather for two weeks....it’s shrinking all the time...but it’s still there and tomorrow we are planning to go out (can I explain, the weather has been glorious.....just too windy)...today I even bought a new tool box for the boat...got tired of my higgledy-piggledy collection of tools and wanted something more organized so when I say to the wife, pass me a wrench, she doesn’t have to guess where I might keep it...tonight while eating dinner, my tooth broke in two...I’ve got an appointment Friday at the dentist....will probably need a crown (another €500 down the pan)...but now I’m nervous...it doesn’t hurt, but it’s sensitive to the touch and cold ...I fear it could be a ticking time bomb
Without a storm surge probably more or less than a footHow much tidal movement is there where you are?
Yes it can be done…but my berth is very tight and I don’t want to spoil the day with a stressful single engine manoeuvre later in the dayis your mooring so difficult that you cannot stern to without bow thruster??? looks like it's dead calm
Tight? the bow of the 'ship' that has the berth behind mine overhangs my stern and I have about 1.5m in front to the next boat. coming alongside is funYes it can be done…but my berth is very tight and I don’t want to spoil the day with a stressful single engine manoeuvre later in the day
