Chichester - beware of the Wee

Easter weekend will be (a) our first outing without a skipper to hold our hands (b) our first outing on Weecherie and (c) first time we've sailed in Chichester - so beware everyone anywhere near Chichester Marina - if you see a 12m Broom bearing down on you - please give us a wide berth and please keep out of our way!! We'll hang green L plates off the back......

Thanks for the warning, I'll head west instead!

Just in case you're not aware, Easter has spring tides which means high water is high and low water is low - and Chichester has some pretty shallow bits!

Sorry if this is an egg sucking lesson but I remember my own first time out !

I might be out this weekend if I can summon up the strength to don a wet suit to go down and clean me running gear. Diver can't come till Mon, but he says sea water temp 72F. Want to try out my overhauled motors

I think a trip around Menorca might be called for....... or maybe go the other way to Ibiza. Anyone know whether Ibiza is dead at this time of year or starting to have fun?
