Which boat?

This weekend I have the option of a Manky auld boat or my fine ocean greyhound .. which should we take to France this w/e and why?

Why not take the manky auld boat for a change, it'll make you love your fine vessel all the more. Besides which, if you take GR you'll only get bored of spilling wind whilst the others play catch up.

Is this the same greyhound that didn't make the tidal gate at St Vaast in time so went straight to Cherbourg on the Scuttlebutt trip ?

The greyhound got stuck in the traps that evening! But mind you,it caught up with the three legged donkey at the entrance to Chebourg after making up 90 minutes!

We had sailed almost to StVaast before you wimped out, and we redirected to Cherbourg, so I reckon that's an additional 10 miles. Anyways, you only left an hour after us, not 90 minutes. Besides all that, none of crew had to have their head in the heads due to any uncomfortable motion.
