Best not go there. The local tea leaves will still take what they can.....I don't think he has much of value and he is on his own.

To find a country that accepts entry from someone marked as having overstayed in the EU? The USA would be out, as would the EU Carribbean islands.I wouldn't know about his insurance.
I gave him due warning to check his compliance, but it's up to him, he may just carry on across the ocean.
He won't have overstayed yet, but I doubt he will have really considered the future or knows the rules. To find a country that accepts entry from someone marked as having overstayed in the EU? The USA would be out, as would the EU Carribbean islands.
A bit like parts of the UK these days then.Best not go there. The local tea leaves will still take what they can.....
It would be wise for him to look them up then. With the EES rollout, staying under the Radar will be very hard.He won't have overstayed yet, but I doubt he will have really considered the future or knows the rules.
I hope that he takes your advice. It would be wise for him to look them up then. With the EES rollout, staying under the Radar will be very hard.
He hadn't sailed before he bought Romaphin last year, but he has got that far on his own, so I am very impressed. He seems to have no fear having survived previous horrible accidents, With your experience l am sure he is willing to take on board any advice you have. Thank you. I am his sounding board, but people like you are invaluable as you have been there and done it.We met him yesterday here in Alvor. Nice guy, but gave the impression of more enthusiasm than experience.
Best bet is find an EU girlfriend and marry her. I certainly get the impression things are tightening up, even in the Algarve.
Best overwintering spot for cheapness and under the radar is almost certainly up the Guadiana.
